The IAES, a society of Iranian
agricultural economists, was formed in 1994. The main
objectives of the society are:
1- Encouraging study,
research and understanding agricultural economics in developing
countries especially in Iran.
2- Promoting the application
of agricultural economics in farm management, rural development,
agricultural marketing, market structure and trades, food policy,
water management, etc.
3- Providing an opportunity for
IAES members to communicate with other agricultural
economists.
The society holds a
biannual national conference through which the society hopes to
provide a forum for disseminating of research
results. |
