Call for Papers

 

The 6th biennial Conference of the Iranian Agricultural Economics Society (IAES) will be held at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran from 30th -31th October 2007. The organizing committee is pleased to invite submissions of original research for presentation at this conference.

 

CONFERENCE THEMES

The themes of the parallel sessions are varied to accommodate various research interests. Submissions are considered under the following 4 main and 3 sub-themes:

 

Main Themes

Natural Resources and Environmental Economics

Agricultural Management and Production

Agricultural Policy and Development

Agribusiness and Marketing

 

SUB-THEMES

Role of Rural and Agricultural Cooperatives in National Economy

Crop Insurance, Development and Investment Safety

Agricultural Productivity and Employment

 

Proposals on Economics of Saffron as well as on Economics of Water are so welcomed.

 

Timetable and Deadlines

The deadline for submitting abstracts is June 20th, 2007.  Selected applicants will be informed by August, 1st, 2007. The written papers are due by September 20th, 2007.
